Fastest path inside the app
Open Families, go to Settings, then Account Actions, then Delete Account. This deletes the account and associated app data from our active backend systems.
Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, send us a deletion request from the email address connected to your Families account.
What gets deleted
Deletion covers your Families account record, family-tree profiles, birth details, family notes, generated readings, audio files, PDFs, portrait files, support-related account records, notification records, and AI intake logs linked to your account.
What may remain
Payment infrastructure providers may retain purchase records according to their own legal and accounting requirements. We may retain limited operational records only where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, audit, or legal obligations.
Timing
In-app deletion is processed immediately when the backend confirms the request. Email deletion requests are normally handled within 30 days after we verify account ownership.
